Cirencester Camera Club was recently nominated for  the Cirencester Chamber of Commerce Business Awards in the category of “Creatives Champion”.
This award is open to clubs, individuals, companies, or venues who help local people showcase their talents. 

“The Creatives Champion is defined as a club, company, venue or individual who helps the local creative people to showcase their talents. They may be creative people themselves, but it’s how they promote others that counts for this Award. Cirencester Scene would like you to bring them out of the shadows and give them the applause they deserve.”

After all the public votes were received, the award (quite rightly!) went to The Barn Theatre who have worked so hard throughout 2020 to keep live theatre and performances available for local people, either online or as a socially distanced event. Many congratulations go to the whole team who work at The Barn Theatre on achieving this award.
