My interest in photography began in the mid 60’s when, as a child, I was given a Kodak 127 “Brownie” Bakelite camera – I now use my trusted old Nikon D40X.
To me, photography isn’t just about the picture, it’s also about the memory. My favourite photographer William Eggleston once said; “Photography just gets us out of the house.”
My favourite place (so far) to take pictures has been in India. Whether it be some graffiti on a wall or the jewel encrusted tomb of a Maharajah – the aesthetic qualities can be the same. Seek and ye shall find.
