COMPETITION C RESULTS
There were 86 entries for Competition C – with a set subject of The Colour Wheel  – and as usual the images submitted covered a wide range of subjects from fairgrounds to flowers, birds to brutalist architecture. Â
Jay Hallsworth LRPS from Gloucester was our judge for the evening  – a huge thank you to Jay for all his efforts studying our images in detail and preparing the critiques for each one with care and attention. Jay gave a very thorough critique of the 28 prints including the paper, the mount colour and style, offering some helpful hints about using backing board, different types of paper etc where appropriate.Â
The 58 DPIs were also given a consistent and fair commentary, with Jay looking for amongst other things, the ‘reason why the photographer had taken the image’, and the results can be found below. Congratulations to all 21 different members whose images were placed, including three new members. (Title image: Corridor of Colour by Jill Bewley)
