Photography Talk – Leigh Woolford
Leigh has been taking photographs “as long as he can remember”. He was given his first camera aged 11, and his serious interest started by photographing Formula 1 racing in the 1980’s. He wasn’t too interested in other types of photography until he joined Gwynfa camera club later in the decade. Landscape photography is now Leigh’s passion – particularly Iceland which he describes as “mad, cold, hot, bonkers, beautiful, ugly”! We have yet to finalise Leigh’s topic for his presentation to the Club, but these are some of the talks that Leigh offers: South Iceland – Land of Ice and Fire; Unseen Iceland; A Search for Focus (covers street, motor sport, landscapes, travel); Favourite Prints and Salon Successes.
